Electrolytes & Neutralytes
Specially developed electrolytes and neutrals are needed for electrolytic marking. The harmless salt solution (electrolyte) enables the voltage to be conducted between the workpiece and the marking device. The Neutralyt neutralises the marking to prevent corrosion.

Short & long term stencils
To apply the desired marking text to your component, you need short-term or long-term stencils.
Short-term stencils:
The short-term stencils can be produced very easily and quickly with the appropriate printer. They can be used up to 50 times, depending on the material and power setting.
Long-term stencils:
The long-term stencils are particularly suitable for recurring markings such as company logos. The stencils can be used up to 5,000 times and are manufactured according to individual customer requirements. Our graphic designers can process vector files & also redraw the individual stencil if required.

Stencil printer
A stencil printer is recommended for the electrolytic marking of individual parts or consecutive serial numbers. With this, you can produce short-time stencils easily and quickly with the desired marking text, 2D codes or logos.

Charcoal stamp
The individual production of the required carbon stamps enables the simple marking of all kinds of geometries. The hand and machine punches are in stock in standard dimensions.
Concave, convex or offset carbon stamps make it easier for the user to mark cylindrical components or components with interfering contours. The carbon stamps are manufactured by us with the highest precision according to individual customer requirements.

Extensions
The Saurer marking devices can be extended to semi-automated systems by various additions. The extension of a marking device by means of a manual assembly unit or pneumatic assembly serves, for example, to fix the workpiece and the stencil. The superstructure ensures the exact positioning of the marking on your workpiece. We offer electrolyte pumps to automate the manual supply of electrolyte to the stamp.

FAQ
For electrolytic marking you need the marking device, a carbon stamp, felt, electrolyte, Neutralyt and a short & or long term stencil. You receive the required accessories directly with our original equipment!
The electrolytes we use are in no way toxic. They are a specially developed salt solution.
